Hi guys,
there are beef problems too after the ruby update, when I try to run it:
Quote
Could not find addressable-2.3.6 in any of the sources
Run `bundle install` to install missing gems.

n0ys3@backbox:~$ bundle install
Could not locate Gemfile or .bundle/ directory
n0ys3@backbox:~$

Also installing the bundle and the addressable:
Quote
gem install bundle                                                                                                                            ] 10:45
Fetching: bundle-0.0.1.gem (100%)
Successfully installed bundle-0.0.1
Parsing documentation for bundle-0.0.1
Installing ri documentation for bundle-0.0.1
Done installing documentation for bundle after 0 seconds
1 gem installed
~/Scaricati [ bundle install                                                                                                                                  ] 10:46
Could not locate Gemfile or .bundle/ directory
~/Scaricati [ sudo gem install addressable                                                                                                                       ] 10:46
Successfully installed addressable-2.3.7
Parsing documentation for addressable-2.3.7
Done installing documentation for addressable after 0 seconds
1 gem installed

now I'm googling and I'm looking for an answer. After the ruby's update there are a lot of tools that don't works and if needed might be a trouble... Like now =) . Please take a look if there are any other tools that need to be fixed!
cheers

ps: I made upgrade, dist-upgrade, and reinstalled as reported but I still have the problems!

Don't use sudo for start. I will check on my side.

EDIT:

Sorry i don't have issue on my side, i guess your mistake was to remove all.

And install good version of addressable 2.3.6, how to install good gem version :

http://guides.rubygems.org/command-reference/#gem-install

EDIT: Nop, that is not the problem. I have same 2.3.7 version. Maybe it's better if you come to IRC ;).

EDIT 1: I didn't force sys update, i just got synaptic message that my system needs updates. After that i just made dist-upgrade, msfupdate (try to run this to fix gem issue) from terminal to fix gem dependency, installed kernel 3.16 and that was all.

Hi ZEROF!
Thanx for reply... I have the new version too, look:
Code: [Select]
[ ruby -v                                                                                ] 3:29
ruby 2.1.2p95 (2014-05-08) [i386-linux-gnu]

[ beef-server                                                                          ] 3:29
[!] This script must run as root

[ sudo beef-server                                                                   ] 3:29
[sudo] password for n0ys3:
could not find addressable-2.3.6 in any of the sources
Run `bundle install` to install missing gems.

wpscan, mfs and other tools works....

edit:
removed, purged and reinstalled.... there was a lot of dependencies to resolve. Fixed!
Sorry bro for useless waste of time and patience!! Sometime I get lost in my pocket =)

Cheers!!
