lollo98 you actual answer your own question if you think about it  :D

So firefox and chrome run fine when you use the internet flash java etc BUT when you play dragon city its slows hmmm  :-\
so lets think about what would you do first to examine this problem

1 ) post why is my internet slow on some sites on not on others : ANSWER no
2 ) check how much memory firefox is using when your using that webserver or application : ANSWER yes

first off you may have a memory leak what plugins do you have installed ???

what you should have done is done some testing before even thinking of posting and when you decide to post
think again ... ask your self am I posting a stupid and nonsensical  question ??

check your memory when using dragon city in firefox

free | grep Mem | awk '{ printf( "Remaining Memory ""%.4f%\n", $4/$2 * 100) }'| sed 's/\.[0-9]*//g' # this will tell you how much memory is left

check how much memory firefox is using when running dragon

ps aux | grep firefox | grep -v grep | awk '{print "Firefox is using " $4 "%" " Memory"}' # this will tell you how much memory firefox is using including plugins

software center is a little slow in 12.04 .. it is as it takes a little longer to load than the older version
but as weveg said apt-cache is your friend there is no need for software center  use the command line to find what your looking for you will find apt-cache has a lot of flexiblity look at the man pages and apt-cache --help .typing a word or libary in software center will not always come up but doing apt-cache search firefox you will get the full list of libarys

** NOTE **
while im on the subject if your running your machine with less than 2GB your put a lot of stress on that machine even with xfce and swap space minimum ram should be 4GB to run any machine comfortably any less and you are PI**ING AGAINST THE WIND all the latest 12.04 kernels come with pae so you dont need to use x64
