Customize intro

Hi i just installed my backbox with lvm + encryption (thanks to the tutorial in the wiki) but now i want to customize it even futher
When i start the computer the grub does not appear why so? I saw the grub config but i didnt understand why it wasnt appearing (time is 10s)
And i would also like to change this image http://postimg.org/image/pcgmehi9d/ to something that says Welcome HomeGamer that i will create

That didnt work this is when i boot up the system and asks me to decrypt the disk
also grub does not appear any idea ?
