After using backtrack for years, I switched to backbox due to speed and less bugs. Great Job!!! I just wanted to share on how to customize the boot login. So here is a little tutorial on how to do it.

(before the login splash screen)
1> navagate to  lib/plymouth/themes/backbox-logo.script ,, (insert your background img)
2> open your text editor sudo gedit backbox-logo.script, scroll down to background_image = Image("what ever your image is.png");
3>save it & sudo update-initramfs -u

( this is for the login screen background)
1> move your favorite background  to  /usr/share/xfce4/backdrops/,,, (insert your background img)
2> open your text editor  sudo gedit /etc/lightdm/lightdm-gtk-greeter.conf ..... change the line under [greeter] background=/usr/share/xfce4/backdrops/your background.jpg
3> save it

And if you want to change the backbox logo icon on the login page

1>/usr/share/lightdm-gtk-greeter/gnome/scalable/apps and edit the computer.svg image.
