noob question: upgrade to Backbox 3.05

Hi at all, I have installed backbox 3.0 on my pc.
If I want to upgrade the system to 3.05, did I have to download and reinstall the new .iso image or I can solve it with a dist- upgrade?

Hi,

You don't need full system reinstall. We have upgrade guide on our wiki :

Just after run in terminal :

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

And in my case little +:

sudo apt-get install --reinstall backbox-desktop

Try and see what you will get with command :  cat /etc/issue.net, , normally you will see BackBox Linux 3.05.
