Hi is it possible to run backbox from a persistant USB stick.
When it's encrypted by truecypt?
I heard you had to use a preloader for that. If anyone could send me to a tutorial or something that would be nice..

Yeah I know how to make a regular persistant USB. But I was wondering what I need to do if I want to boot from an encrypted one that's encrypted with truecrypt.

Do I just install it on the pendrive, and encrypt it with truecrypt later? Cause I thought that erased all contents of the drive.. And how would my computer recognize it's bootable when it's encrypted?

Also how can I make sure it doesn't leave any logs on my regular drives?

"Truecrypt can encrypt the OS partition while the OS is running, then all you have to do is reboot and you'll be prompted to provide your password."

Google keyword: encrypt ubuntu usb !

Cheers !
