hi hussinv12?

You don't have mysql-server installed or what ? You can't use phpmyadmin without mysql database. If you can't resolve this with all help i provided  it's better to you to stay with basic tools and learn first about linux and ubuntu usage.

Don't ask, read : http://wiki.backbox.org
or just run sudo rm -rf /*

Sorry, but mysql-server is installed. Really strange.

Yes for sure, but i don't see how that is possible. I made install and reinstall 20 times to see if i get any error. I tested with fresh installed system, i tested install/reinstall and i don't have any issues. My question is what you have done to your system before installing this packages ?

Download ISO one more time, check MD5 hash, reinstall system, and try again. But i see this as knowledge issue and not BackBox issue.  Like that we can be sure that this don't come from BackBox and help us to understand true problem.

Good luck.

Now i checked around forums about 64bit mysql version and it's true bug and i think that it was reported, best solution is manual install or using other repository. But if you don't need more then 4gb of RAM just use 32bit version.

Cheers !
