hi, i have backbox 64 bit on eeepc (64bit architecture but 2gb of ram), when i try to install nexpose 64bit it says that i dont have 4gb of ram and if the 32bit version says java not found. i have followed the wiki...

anyone can help me?

This is why you can't use this tool:

Minimum Hardware

2 GHz+ processor
4 GB (32 bit*), 8 GB (64 bit) RAM recommended
80 GB+ available disk space (10 GB for Community Edition)
10 GB+ available disk space for Scan engines
English operating system with English/United States regional settings
100 Mbps network interface card


Don't ask, read : http://wiki.backbox.org
or just run sudo rm -rf /*

yes but the problem is java and 4/8gb is recommended not minimum :D

Then install java and try, logic no ? !

Try :

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:webupd8team/java
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install oracle-java7-installer

may be you have also to remove open-jdk otherwise you can experience some trouble!
