Im pretty new to pentesting. and im following directions through a video on youtube to make sure im using it right, Im not sure but i think my laptop driver is not supported or something?
when i run airmon-ng here is what i get.
Code: [Select]
komrad@Krash-LT:~$ sudo airmon-ng
[sudo] password for komrad:

Interface Chipset Driver

eth1 Unknown wl - [phy0]

and when i start airmon i get:
Code: [Select]
komrad@Krash-LT:~$ sudo airmon-ng start eth1

Found 5 processes that could cause trouble.
If airodump-ng, aireplay-ng or airtun-ng stops working after
a short period of time, you may want to kill (some of) them!

PID Name
1068 NetworkManager
1083 avahi-daemon
1085 avahi-daemon
1184 wpa_supplicant
3514 dhclient
Process with PID 3514 (dhclient) is running on interface eth1

Interface Chipset Driver

eth1 Unknown wl - [phy0]mon0: ERROR while getting interface flags: No such device

(monitor mode enabled on mon0)

anyway to fix this or am i going to have to wait to use these tool untill i can buy a wireless adapter that is supported?

Hi, show me your iwconfig output please.
There is an error but, as you can see, "(monitor mode enabled on mon0)"
