How to upgrade to W3af 1.1

How to upgrade to W3af latest version 1.1 in back box 2. Please help me.

Did you try to download the tar file in this url?

I don't know if there is a deb file....

Its not working for me.

I executed sudo apt-get build-dep w3af

but w3af is not launching  now .

Please help.

That command "apt-get build-dep w3af" only serves to download everything you need to compile w3af from source.
It does nothing for your w3af installation (which you should uninstall before building/installing the new version).

Spero di trovare un 'aito per questo problema, non si apriva w3af dopo avere fatto un'aggiornamento, dopo varie prove decido di formattare : w3af si apre si aggiorna
, dopo avere spento e riacceso il pc w3af non si apre piu' e non da alcun errore.
Se qualcuno puo mi dia un consiglio
