http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IxJXDDqTjPY

processore Intel(R) Atom CPU N270 1.60GHz
0,99GB RAM

Ragazzi aiutatemi vi prego! :'(

- formatta in fat32
- unetbootin sulla chiavetta appena formattata
- boot da chiavetta alla schermata del bios
- segui la procedura di installazione

happy hacking!!

qui è anche un'altra alternativa

Live-usb-install for linux

or

2) l'iso è danneggiato hai controllato l'md5

PLEASE excuse if the translation is not great..... I try to make sure its as close at possible by typing it in Google translate then copy and paste the translation into the other site to see if what comes out is what went in :)

I really appreciate that weveg !! shame its a language barrier between the community and that google don't offer the full service for free any more bloody corporate w**kers

weveg please translate this the way you like .. shorten it , change it to however you like... thanks again !!

does it even attempt to boot i.e show the unetbootin menu ?

if you have downloaded both x86 and x64 and tried it on other two machines i.e yours and another one what does that say to you ???

1) the usb is faulty

or

2) the iso is corrupted have you checked the md5

to check md5 do

sudo md5sum your.iso

I suggest you get another USB format it FAT32 and download it again do NOT use download managers !!!

It is possible that the grub line may need to be altered for the eeepc but since you have tried two computers I would rule that out
but its not out of this world that the other computer that you tried needs to be altered to boot it may just be a horrible Coincidence

first do as above rule out every possibility  i.e download fresh copy and check md5, then use a different usb
if this does not work then we need to edit the grub line

Don't worry! this is collaboration! ;) or "sense of community"

does it even attempt to boot i.e show the unetbootin menu ?

if you have downloaded both x86 and x64 and tried it on other two machines i.e yours and another one what does that say to you
1) the usb is faulty
1) l'usb è fallata,
or
oppure
2) the iso is corrupted have you checked the md5
2) la tua iso è corrotta e dovresti controllare l'md5

to check md5 do
per controllare l'md5 fai:

sudo md5sum your.iso

I suggest you get another USB format it FAT32 and download it again do NOT use download managers !!!

It is possible that the grub line may need to be altered for the eeepc but since you have tried two computers I would rule that out but its not out of this world that the other computer that you tried needs to be altered to boot it may just be a horrible Coincidence

first do as above rule out every possibility  i.e download fresh copy and check md5, then use a different usb
if this does not work then we need to edit the grub line
Robert: 5 euro please ;) lol

L'md5 come si controlla?! quel codice (sudo md5sum your.iso) dove va scritto?!
