help on upgrade version

my laptop run in dual boot backbox 4.7 and windows 10.

Today i found out the new version bakcbox 5., to upgrade I just have to press the upgrade button or do i have to do anything else? will i lost my data and my installed software?

Hi,

It's best solution if you install from scratch. BBox 5 is major release and to be honest I didn't even try hard rock system upgrade on my side.
