Hello community!
I recently upgraded to BackBox 5, it was all perfect until ... i tried to spoof my mac address!
After a lot of pain in google i learned:
Backbox 5 has updated network-manager to 1.2.6 version because we have 16.04 ubuntu.
The problem relies on a bug on nm1.2.6 you can change your mac address (ex macchanger)
BUT when you connect on a wifi the mac address changes to the Build in!
I tried to upgrade to 1.4.... it spoofs the mac BUT it does not connect.
I tried to downgrade to 0.9 BUT there are dependency issues.
Do you have any thoughts for a fix or a way to spoof the mac address on BackBox 5?
Thank you for your time :)
