Hello boys,
I'm trying to install Backbox 4.3, but after choosing a clean install disk encrypted and VLM,
in the window of the world, I receive this message !!!

Italiano:
"Tentativo di montare un file system di tipo swap in LVM VG backbox-vg, LV swap_1 su none non riuscito"

Pseudo-English:
"Attempting to mount a file system swap LVM VG backbox-vg, LV swap_1 to none Failed"

If I continue it freezes, if I go back when I'm back in the window of the world, reappears .....
Can someone please help me?
Thank You

PS: I'm sorry for my english, it's horrible and i know  ;D

Hi,

First you need to use live boot and format your disk, then run installation.

Don't ask, read : http://wiki.backbox.org
or just run sudo rm -rf /*

Oh ok, i can use gparted but what partition i have to do on the hardisk for a correct installation?

I think:
1 ext4
1 swap

It's correct?

Thanks a lot :-)

You don't need to make any new partition. Just format your drive to ntfs/ext4 or what you want, when you boot backbox iso he will set new file system for you.

Don't ask, read : http://wiki.backbox.org
or just run sudo rm -rf /*

After many tests, finally I've got my new version of backbox !!!!! ;D ;D ;D
I think to have some problem with the IDE controller (old laptop) because the error was alternately, but now I'm here  ;)
Thank you ZEROF
