posto il link ad un howto che mi è stato molto utile per installare backbox con (quasi) tutta la root criptata:

magari serve a qualcun'altro  :)

Hey all,

pretty new to the forums, not to Pen-Testing distributions nor Linux. I just wrote an article about BackBox and disk encryption with LVM (based on the famous article for BackTrack).
I like BackBox and think it is better to handle as a system installation than Backtrack which was my motivation to dig deeper into "converting" my BT install to a BB one :)

Here is the article: Installing BackBox Linux with LVM and (nearly) complete encryption
Hope you like it. A video may follow some day when i finally managed those stupid video editing programs under linux. Also i am working on a round-up to clear some things and explain a bit what happens behind the curtains.

One small suggestion: There are not so many people in the world who can speak italien...could there be an international forum (english only) or maybe an italien only area? The way its organized now you never know what is inside a thread until you click it. Well, i hope you know what i would like to say ;)

Have fun

hey SaThaRiel,
welcome to Free Software world and welcome to the BackBox community.....
it is a pretty nice article I'd say, we appreciate that....

Regarding the Eng lang forum, unfortunately at the moment we can't create fork of forum in different lang, not all the people that asks for support can speak english.....

But none of us from Backbox team have any problem with eng lang, so you can post whatever you wish in english without any problem.

Feel free to get back to us for further details, we will also much appreciate your feedback and/or support.

Happy Hacking!

Well, finally managed to get the stupid video edited and up.

hey SaThaRiel,
thanks very much for your contribution that we really appreciate.....

I was wondering if you'd be able merge the video tutorial of your into tutorial http://wiki.backbox.org/index.php/Install_BackBox_in_full_encryption_disk
that written by our team?

Thanks again and happy hacking....

SaThaRiel

Hey,

thanks for the comments.
Actually the tutorial in the wiki takes a slightly other way than i did. It looks like it can be automated better, my way is for sitting in front of the screen ;)
I fear i may get the question wrong. Should i do another video with the "official" backbox tutorial? Can do that but it will take a bit of time.

Stay clean

sure, go ahead and feel free to do what is comfortable to you.....
Yeah, I know it is a bit different, that is why I was looking for a sort of merge/fusion between two.....never mind ;)
Personally I do manually all encryption of system by setting up physical/logical volumes encryption......

Don't be afraid, fire out the monster in you and we will support you fight him...lol ;D

Thank by the way....
