Hi All!
First, love this distro of linux. It just works! No USB 3 issues, picks up my Alfa etc on my macbook air mid 2012.

The only thing that does not seem to work is connecting to external display through mini dvi/thunderbolt port. When cold booting with the display plugged in, it seems like it is put into a VERY low graphics mode, just white blocks instead of text and the boot sequence appears to halt at some point (illegible to read).

If I plug in the external display after boot starts, or when boot finishes nothing happens on that display however the display on the air is fine.

Also it boots and looks fine just from the air.

Any help would be appreciated

HI wren,

Not sure if this is BBox problem or your 2nd screen hardwer support, but what you can try is to buy dvi to hdmi adapter (if your 2nd screen have hdmi) and like that you can get better image.

All BBox screen settings are here :

You can try to make better settings with this app :

To install ArandR : sudo apt-get install arandr

Cheers !

Don't ask, read : http://wiki.backbox.org
or just run sudo rm -rf /*
