I go to connect to a wireless network and it freezes the whole computer, I have waited for hrs for it to unhang and it never does?
What bug is this? and how do I fix it?
I think maybe some other software is messing with the wireless, but I am not sure?
Also I have ubuntu on the same laptop and windows 7 and both of those connect to the same wireless with no problem.

Maybe if you post some log files it would be useful...
Also your wireless card model.

Bye.
