Vidalia Error, is this normal?

Hello World!

I'm on the 3.1 release since today but I have this error when I click on the Vidalia icon from application menu. :(
What's going on? What should I do to correct this?  ???

Logs tell you the problem, .tor folder isn't your but owned by root, so vidalia can't create data on /home/Ian/.tor... I think this is your problem....

OK but is this normal to have this "error" after a clean install.
It works if I launch it as root but before (3.0) it worked well without any things to do.

I ask if you have this "error" too, after a clean BackBox 3.1 installation?

obviously, root is the owner... You have to change permission to your folder in order to be the right owner! use chmod with permission you want, or better, chown user /.tor
