I have 4.0 installed on a multiboot usb (created with YUMI) that contains other IT software i use. I am unsure if there is a way to create a persistence partition for backbox through this method so I just run the live install and use what i need. But of course it does not seem to save any updates :) which normally is not that big of a deal. However, after this backbox-tools update, I would like to have this update on my memory stick permanently. So is there a way I, or someone more knowledgeable, create a newer updated iso?  A backbox 4.01 if you will.

thanks!

Hi,

You don't need some magic to do this. You can use http://www.linuxliveusb.com/en/help/faq/persistence to make a persistence USB. No need for one more ISO.

Don't ask, read : http://wiki.backbox.org
or just run sudo rm -rf /*
