[SOLVED] Make icons on panel larger?

hi, been messing with settings can can only find where to make icons on desktop and text larger in panel, is their a way i can make the actual icons on the panel larger? i am trying to make a side bar similar to unity but the icons are very small even when messing with settings, anything i am missing? thanks a lot for any responses or advice. :)

Right click on panel, then "Panel Preferences, then you can play with mode, row size etc..
