[SOLVED] How to back up your BackboxLinux?

Hey guys, just switched from Windows to Linux and I am wondering how to back up my OS so I can restart if anything goes wrong. By the way, if I am using an old Dell Dimension E520, with the original mobo, on an 80GB HDD that had multiple OS rewrites... Will this cause me some issues with updating? The 4GB RAM and or RAM slots probably have faults as well. It's all I have really so I use it. I kind of actually like it. I'm determined to learn and use a Linux OS successfully though, I love how it has changed my life so far.

Best to do is to download CloneZilla, make bootable usb, and make backup image on your external drive or network stockage if you have it. If something go wrong, you can restore BBox on your PC.

I have an external drive I used to install BB. Could I partition that and use a portion for back up and a portion for clean installs?
