[SOLVED] Hangs @ 'configuring apt'

Thoughts?  

Booting from usb3.0 flash drive (fat32), live flash works fine.  I'm using a wired connection per some suggestions I found.  MD5 matches 4.5 distro

Sitting on a lenovo Thinkpad T540p amd64 core i7 8gb ram.. let me know what other information I can give to resolve this issue.

I'm going to leave it while I sleep but I doubt it should take this long (at an hour..)

So, about 7 hours later here we are.. with no change.

I'll keep an eye on this topic but for now I'm just going to install Debian.

Everyone at work on Linux is on Debian/BackBox and we're designing architecture around your build so I'd certainly like to make use of it.

Only idea I have is to use http://www.linuxliveusb.com/ in place of Unetbootin. Download, pick your iso, and check format my usb option and




Using cable network can help, if not disable internet, have more then 10G if you are using vm.

Test more then one usb stick if you can. If not you will need some nasty installer hacking that i don't have time right now to write and it's not tested :)
