[SOLVED] Boot on 32-bit UEFI bootloader

Hello to eveyone,

i'm new and i wish i've write in the correct section.
I've got a Asus X205TA with 32-bit bootloader, i've disable secure boot and turn to EHCI from bios, i've also create a boot menu with EasyBCD but nothing works, can anyone help me to boot BackBox on this 32-bit bootloader?? what can i change to make it run??

This is for version 14.10 of ubuntu, but I guess, you will find some good info. Your PC is what i call "not Linux friendly". Search google for "install ubuntu 14.04 Asus X205TA" too. If you find solution share it.

I don't understand the process to do this, because it said to modify ubuntu after install it, but i can't boot. Can you explain the process better??

Sorry, but like you said, you are new in Linux and i don't have your hardware to play with. In situation like this we look for solution on our side, we try all what we can find around. Maybe other users can help you, but i don't see how if they don't have your pc. You can always install Virtual Box or VMWare and play with linux, it's even better if you are new, like that you will learn more about your OS.

Ok, thanks you. I have finally boot with success Lubuntu, by modify the bootia32.efi, now i'm giong to try the amd64 version. I'll make you now. ;)

Finally i solved the problem. I booted a 64-bit operating system with bootia32.efi in the EFI/boot folder :)

Are you saying I simply need to put that file in the EFI Boot Folder of my Ubun flash drive installer ?

And is your X205TA works well with UBUNTU 14.x ?

Where do I find that file ( I am not a linux pro yet)
