[SOLVED] BackBox Anonymous mode

Goodmorning to everyone,

I have a problem with the anonymous tool.
in practice if I active tool (therefore I write anonymous start) I surf anonymously.
The problem which arises is that if I open the terminal and run tools like DIG or HOST or WHOIS, they do not work correctly.
Instead if I disable anonymous (anonymous stop) everything works correctly.
Someone can give me an answer?

Anon mode is a few iptables strings that forward your traffic to the tor network, if you take a look at that rules you'll understand yourself that icmp and other network protocols are blocked. For this reason any tool that use that protocols are unstable or works not correctly and so on...

how can i perform anonymously penetration testing  if I can not use the anonymous mode?

Any tool and any step of PT have they own "trick" that allow you to do your job! If you use anon mode there are step that you can do! The whole PT can't be done with anon mode!
