[SOLVED] BackBox 5.0

Hello ! I would like to know when version 5.0 of Backbox will come out  ???
To see if it's really worth it to pay Membership  :-\  :)
Because, Backbox 4.7 is good but a lot of incompatibility because it is a standby version of ubuntu

backbox 5 is currently work in progress and there is no timeline yet but in the next few month we may release...

backbox 4.7 is based on LTS and I have no idea what is that standby you refer to. Furthermore, if you can just be more specific about the incompatibilities we may be able to address you in better way. Compatibility is mainly can be discussed at kernel level and if current backbox has >=4 kernel version I have no idea what you are talking about really...

If your decision of subscribing membership is depending on release then I am afraid you are in the wrong place. This is a community and not a business environment.
