" Screen Flicks in 4.4 "" [SOLVED]

Humbly requesting to be Solve this issue

I am using Google Chrome in BackBox 4.4
When I play youtube or online video then screen flicks 7-8 times.

In previous versions
In 4.1, it got kernel panic & PC got hanged.
In 4.2, No Kernel Panic and Hanged problem is solved but it got stuck for couple of seconds.
In 4.3, still got stuck problem.
In 4.4, still has stuck problem and screen got flicks a number of times

It would be great if this could be solved. Thanks :)

I admit to never look YouTube on BackBox.

This morning however, I tried with Firefox, I heard 5 music videos without problems. Smooth video and sound perfect.

Hi,

I guess some part of your hardware is not Linux friendly. Do you have nvidia or ati? Try to install last drivers. Does your pc have more then 1gb of ram? If not, add 1gb. What is output of your sysconf? See if you can find online any issue from hardare information you will get. Etc.. Even with all this information I'm not sure how we can help.

I saw issue your issue, and few others, with one very old laptop. What i did is i got last BIOS version for that laptop. Then i installed BackBox and i installed almost last kernel version, something like now BBox use 3.19 but i pushed to 4.1 or even 4.3 (you can see and test this solution on your own risk http://forum.backbox.org/howtos/installing-liquoixzen-kernel-4-2-3-for-fun/).

I think its enough to run Backbox 4.4

Finally I found its the Problem with Google Chrome Browser.
You were right, Fire Fox is playing it nice & smooth even Tor Browser is fine as well.
I am just a Google Chrome user . Any way, I am really sorry for bothering you guys.

Hi,

Your pc look fine for me and i didn't found some big issues around Ubuntu/Debian community from people using same model. Problem with Chrome is something else and some version are bugy, memory leaks most of the time.

Have fun, and try to use Chrome when next version pop up, and try to test without any addons on. Some addons/plugins can provoke your issue.
