I am Not Able to Capture Wifi Handshake using Wifite tool ,i try many time my wifi card work well in kali ,parrot and other well but not in latest version of backbox 5 64 bit
 my wifi card is TP-LINK TL-WN722N , it keep only listening for handshake and sending deauthorize command any solution ?

Is anybody able to capture wife handshake on latest backbox 5 64 bit via any other wifi data card

Just to confirm that this problem exist. For some reason cannot capture 4-way handshake with this tool. With Aircrack-ng have no problem, but with Wifite it's not the case. Tried with another pentest distro (Kali), everything is working as should. For me personal, I can live without this tool, but it's nice to have a working tool. Just for info, tried with Alfa Awus036NH, but as I said before injection works and everything is fine with card (Aircrack-Ng suite work's).

Solved this with new version of Wifite. Everything work as should. Reported in another topic that this tool needs to be updated.



Also, on Github for this version there is a mention of Backbox, you may look yourself.  Sad



But with small additions and compiling work, these tool work as should, even in Backbox not just on Kali.
