Am using Backbox 4. Mouse pointer: AlpsPS/2 ALPS DualPoint TouchPad sticks sometimes. I am able to use the keyboard when it sticks but not the mouse at all.

Hi,

As your issue is something what i would call "bad lack", i will try to give some answers. First of all i checked around, this don't comes directly from my head.

1. Up to kernel 3.14 or even 3.15 this was not fixed (from some askubuntu topics, bugs reports etc..)

2. Did you check with your laptop company (some of them will provide you with fresh driver, check on their community forum too, or share with us your PC reference)

3. Did you search around for some solutions

4. How you are using BBox (vmware or full disk installation)

Good luck

Don't ask, read : http://wiki.backbox.org
or just run sudo rm -rf /*

Omar

I have Backbox installed alongside Windows, but this issue doesn't happen in windows...
