Author Topic: [SOLVED] GRUB Missing while installing BackBox  (Read 1649 times)

The whole installation goes fine then at the end it just crashes and says "grub installer could not be found" or something like that

i have a Asus with no OS on it now

and my Laptop is 64x

Please help  Embarrassed

Hi,

Start from your BIOS settings, enable efi for other OS, check that you boot from efi usb partition, if you don't know what all of this is, turn down efi and go with legacy bios mode. And use Ethernet cable for your connection because if you check install other software, you will need this. And if you have nvidia card, this is just start of your issues.

But as you didn't provided more information, you will need to work with what i said. Saying "is not working", don't help me or you. I didn't even know your laptop model, other hardware etc.. all what i said is just my good weal to help, and hope it will.

it's ok i fixed it i just had to be connected to WiFi for it to work
