firefox problem

hi,
i have an problem with my firefox, i can't run it normaly...
every i run it, out this message box
"Firefox is already running, but is not responding. To open a new window, you must first close the existing Firefox process, or restart your system."
i've restart my Laptop, but thats message still out, na firefox can't run normaly

can someone help me?

Try to reinstall firefox.

sudo -i
apt-get remove firefox
apt-get install firefox

actually reinstalling ff is not the wiser thing to do in this case but debug....
so try to debug the logs pls...

tail -f /var/log/messages
ps aux |grep firefox
and so on...see what is wrong!
it is basic of linux knowledge doing this./
