Hi,

I'm not expert for this kind of problem and it's hard to assist you. What i know about this error is that you can have few sources of problem and it's hard to fix it. Try to make your USB with :

http://www.linuxliveusb.com/  (I have tested this creator)

And check your BBox ISO MD5 hash. Maybe other users can propose you other solution, but i think you will only lose your time fixing problem after problem. Try first to make single boot USB and see if you have same issue.

Good luck.

Don't ask, read : http://wiki.backbox.org
or just run sudo rm -rf /*

omg, man this is not the way to ask on a forum...
Did you check the discussion above? To create a bootable usb stick on windows use LinuxLiveUSB, on a linux distro use unetbootin.
This is all i can say to a question like this.

Bye.
bool secure = check_paranoia() ? true : false;

That option doesn't always work. I downloaded a perfectly good ISO from the Backbox website and created a live USB with UNetbootin, and it doesn't work. Checked the MD5, even checked the disk for errors. It's not ALWAYS user error, as you seem to be implying.

b0dhi_ ,
did you read his question?

I didn't say it was a user error, just that with such few (none) details, and in a gibberish english language, i just can't say anything.
That was the sense...

See you around... bye!

Had same Problem and here is how to fix it.

Install yumi and you will need a windows system.
When using yumi, it will take quit long time to copy the files so don't shut it down.

After installing , and if you have another linux system installed like ubuntu (as i have)
the grub entries will be missed up, so you will need to install grub-customizer to fix the names of the entries
As ubuntu now is the backbox and the ubuntu itself became ubuntu 14.04 lts .. etc

good luck :)

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:danielrichter2007/grub-customizer
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install grub-customizer
