I need to install my graphic card, but installation cant find the kernel. And...the black screen is complet black without login. So i cant get to the ttys. When i change booting : from quit splash to text  it didnt boot.  :'( :'(

Edit: I downgraded kernel to previous. Ttys work now.

'cause after installation headers and kernel are removed... you must install build-essential, header and sources to compile what you need! About ttys i don't know......

Okey. So...
1. i downloaded the files from nvidia website
2. open tty1 and log in - ctrl+alt+f1
3. type - sudo service gdm stop (for killing Xserver)
4. cd to file, where i have nvidia cuda drivers (for example cd Download)
5. ls
6. chmod a+x devdriver...
7. sudo ./devdriver (or sudo sh devdriver...)
8. And now i get this errors: http://imgur.com/NZKW2

sudo rm -rf /var/log/nvidia-installer.log
sudo apt-get install linux-source
sudo apt-get remove --purge nvidia*
sudo reboot

sudo service gdm stop
sudo ./nvidiadriver.run
startx

cd into whatever folder you have it in and do the last command i.e change nvidiadriver name  to your driver you downloaded

luke wait please, i have to advertise you that new nvidia drivers are not yet stable, after reboot you have a black screen, and you have to reload old xorg.conf... my suggestion is to not install the new driver but continue to use nouveau... then, try to install at your own risk!
may be useful to post cat /var/log/nvidia-installer.log to see what is wrong...

you can try using bumblebee but its a lot of hassle some people have had luck with it most have not
but its a good project and well needed due to dman nvidia and intel trying to grab as much market share as possible

why two cards in The one machine its just stupid

they call it optimus due to method of nvidia card kicking in when its needed but its sucks balls for linux THANKS NVIDIA YOU f**king wan****

some people have said they can switch it off from the bois but I doubt that
