After executing "apt-get upgrade" in Terminal, the command was doing what it was supposed to do, but after a while, I come back to see it's progress and it was frozen. I shut it down, using the Virtual Machine Tools, then when I try to start it, every time I try, this pops up:

Any suggestions on how to Fix this problem?

Thank you.

Hi,

BBox version? Did you change /etc/apt/sources.list file? If you push sofware from other repository, then you did pull some junk to your system, and now best is to search for error mesages on your own. This was only "if you".

Don't ask, read : http://wiki.backbox.org
or just run sudo rm -rf /*

Hello, thanks for your reply,

This isn't BBox, this is Kali Linux 2.0, however I thought some of you may be able to help me, somehow, since both systems work similarly.

When I run the virtual machine, it works normally to this point:

Then however, when I hit Enter (First option), the error I mentioned before appears on the screen...

Any suggestions is appreciated!

Man o man, you are in wrong place. Ask on their forum, this is not BackBox related, sorry.

Locked.

Hi Coto,
as suggested by our good ZEROF, nobody here uses Kali and I don't think anybody can help you here on that issue.

You can ask your question on kali linux forum (http://forums.kali.org) where they might be able to help

Ciao
