Hi Edison,
I can't understand what you have done, but to find where one tool is located you can type (ex. ps) :

» where ps
/bin/ps

» whereis ps
ps: /bin/ps /usr/share/man/man1/ps.1.gz

» type ps
ps is /bin/ps

» which ps                                                                                                                                                      ] 10:15
/bin/ps

Also find or locate are useful for you...

ns2 is the Network Simulator 2.
When I installed Backbox, most files in Ubuntu were erased, but the ns2 executable.
The rest of the files disappeared.
But that is OK.
I can install again.
Tks a lot.

Googling I seen that ns2 is similar to Packet tracers by cisco...
btw, if you have installed ns2, with my previous answer you can find the path where ns2 is located.
find and locate can help you as I told you before!!

Yes ns2 is similar to Packet Tracer from Cisco, but less friendly.
Thank you.
