Hi backbox......

Its my first post and first issue that cant be handled by myself......

*error or problem.

I have Backbox latest version......

*Desktop Environment default (backbox)

but after installing cairo-dock the problem starts...

On the user/password login screen there is an option to choose the environment..

i have selected cairodock ( dock+effects)

after i entered i noticed that all my applications are gone from the main menu of Applications menu to others section....
........
In default back-box environment i can see > Applications menu > Anonymous mode > start,restart,stop.....

but when am on cairodock enviornment all the services and tools are just moved to *others sub menu .. like eg : Application menu > others> start,start,start,stop,service,restart,.........

All i want to say that its all messed and i dont know actually the start am going to click actually starts Anonymous mode or Bluetooth ......

* Any one has any idea to get back the Application menu on cairo-dock just as in Backbox default environment ......... :'(

I don't know how this cairodock works, but for sure it is messing something. You should use the default backbox xfce Desktop Environment in the login manager screen in order to preserve the BackBox menu.
Since, as i can see, it is a dock, I think you can start cairodock once the the regular xfce session has been started.
Anyways this kind of issue is offtopic here. If no one here can help you, just refer to Xfce or Xubuntu projects, or cairodock itself.

Have fun!
Bye.

Start removing cairodock, reboot and select the default backbox xfce session from the login manager screen.
