Guys,
this topic is open to everyone in order to have feedback from everyone about what need to be added in BB and need to be removed.

This is because we have to remove all redundancies and optimize the performance of our Pentest distro.

So, feel free to participate and give your feedback about.

Pls be aware that the main elements that we have to focus on it is performance.

I am pretty sure there are plenty apps that has similar functionalities and we can avoid them, your evaluation/suggestion will be much appreciated regardless.

Happy Ahacking!

So far so good ! , i mean users can add extra tools according to their needs, i myself added : Subterfuge, Wine 1.51 and few Bluetooth applications.
I dont see any issue or urgent upgrades !
The only issue i had was SET couldnt find the path to metasploit, and automatic connection to postgres database ! but i managed to correct it!
its all good for me, i dont know what the rest of the members thinks !!!

My personal opinion:

Remove

  • Armitage
  • Dradis or Magic Tree
  • geany
  • Gnumeric
  • AbiWord
  • BleackBit
  • chat tool
  • parole

Add

  • vim
  • writer

I think the best way will be : make list of tools in BB installation where we can check what we need. Hope you understand me...

Example:

â—˜ Armitage
â—˜ Geany
â—™ Gedit
â—™ HEX Editor
â—˜ Fern WIFI Cracker
â—™ fcrackzip

Checked boxes (Geany,HEX Editor, fcrackzip) will be installed in a second.
What do you think about this ?
