I'd like to know what the next major releases are and what hardware platforms are going to be supported in 2014.

Can you elaborate on that as developers? I'm not seeing much on the current developments in the forum, but maybe I haven't found the roadmap yet.

let me know. thanks!

P.S. I'd be glad to help by for instance making documentation for new tools/functionalities.

Hi sinflooddotnet,
nice to see you ;)
As ostendali says, it's a bit early to talk about this, but i can point you here: http://www.backbox.org/release-schedule
There is still some work to do, but i think as soon as more details get defined, our developers will be happy to advertise the users.

I can, instead, answer to the second part of your question:
Well, we have a Wiki opened to everyone who wants contribute with distro documentation, tutorials, howtos and so on. We would be glad if someone wants to contribute to that...
Also there are the Howtos and Scripts sections on our forum, in which all users can write and share their knowledges with the community.
These may be the first steps you might want to consider in order to help us and the whole community. We encourage everyone to do that.

Also, for every single user of our distro: If you want to get involved more intensely in the life/development/testing of our distro, please stay around on our IRC chan: irc.autistici.org:6667/9999 - #backbox. There are often some funny tests to do...

Bye!
See you around!  ;)
