getting Hands on Data of SSL protected website?

hello,

on a .html website with a page to a restricted area (user:pwd form) how are my chances to get my hands on things behind there?

infos i got *SSL / page sends cookies / list of subdomains and more info given by dns lookup / userbase consists of about 100 people...

before i start to dive into this whole thing.. is it even possible? what more information do i have to gather... maybe name a few tools to get me started..?1
