Hi everyone
Just wondering, what about having a section here for BB customization ideas and customized wallpapers made by the members ?!!

Ciao a tutti
Cosa ne pensate se si dedicasse una sezione nel forum per i custom BB distros e idee wallpapers fatte dagli utenti del sito ? sarebbe carino ! penso !!

Hi everyone
I always wanted to run Backbox on a touch screen tablet, i was very curious to see how it works ! well,,,,! i did it, i installed backbox on DELL XT Tablet ! and here is the good and bad things i have experienced:

Good: Looks beautiful , the OS responds promptly , fast , light, awesome graphics and screen resolution.

Bad : Xfce and Gnome are nice but the touch drivers and the screen equilibration are a bit instable " Since BB is not cd image anymore and almost 1GB , so i opted for KDE, it was brilliant, touch screen responds with no error ! onscreen keyboard responds perfectly to the fingers.
I am still working on sound drivers, the microphone is a bit difficult to get it working good under ATI chipset ( I will find a fix for it) other than this the sound is perfect.

GENERAL IDEA: Kde is amazing , i installed KDE on Backbox then changed the settings for root login and added a user account called " User" i Downloaded and installed Backbox menu from repository so now it shows under KDE menu, i added some more tools that i frequently use. Soonest i get the microphone working fine, i will make a video about it, for now i got a screen shot.  ;)

have installed bb on my lenovo x61 tablet times ago....and configured perfectly the entire hw including verizon satellite communication antenna and mobile broadband chip....

it wasn't hard to do that because I've purchased the laptop with ubuntu pre-installed (at 2008), so was no big deal....

It was a bit hard with debian but figured out anyway.....

I don't really tried kde but it worked perfectly with gnome....
