I am using xRDP to remote desktop my backbox machine.but it is always logging in with xfce session in rdp client not with backbox session.however when i use my backbox machine physically i mean not remotely through rdp then it works fine and logged with default backbox session.in order to solve this problem i need to know the exact name of the session of backbox, like the name of xfce session is "xfce4-session".i need the session name so that i can put it to .xsession config file in order to logged as backbox session through xrdp.

Hi,

Check in /usr/share/xsessions

and to play with settings (not recommended)

/etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf

Anyway check:http://askubuntu.com/questions/62833/how-do-i-change-the-default-session-for-when-using-auto-logins

Backup your files !!!

Don't ask, read : http://wiki.backbox.org
or just run sudo rm -rf /*
